Learners explore science, nature, plant-based cooking, organic gardening, mindfulness and the arts in a mixed-age learning group. From hands-on projects in botany, earth science, chemistry, geomorphology, and ornithology to writing, counting, cooking and crafting, our eco-conscious nature school program offers educational opportunities that are creative, sensory rich, and foster a love for learning and discovery.

Christina Nicodemou
Founder, Nature Education Cooperative
Executive Director, Delray Beach Children's Garden
Christina Nicodemou is a progressive educator, nonprofit leader, and non-profit executive. She has spent over a decade cultivating programs that connect children to nature through hands-on learning, environmental stewardship, and creative exploration at the children's garden.
A passionate entrepreneur and active homeschool mother, Christina empowers families to redefine education on their own terms. Her innovative homeschool cooperative serves children ages 5–10, blending STEAM academics with nature-based learning in a playful, outdoor classroom setting.
With a degree in Business Management and a passion for education and the environment, Christina has combined her passions and skills for fundraising, strategic development, and community organizing, to benefit independent education. She has successfully grown multiple community based children's services programs and created an online curriculum to reach families beyond her local network. As a certified nature school educator, she brings heart, vision, and expertise to every endeavor—helping children grow, learn, and thrive in harmony with the natural world.

Veronica Green
Founder & Author, Veronica Green Publications
Manager & Lead Educator, Delray Beach Children's Garden
Veronica Green is a passionate educator, author, and advocate for compassionate living. As the Program Manager and Lead Educator at the Delray Beach Children’s Garden, Veronica designs and leads immersive, nature-based programs that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a deep connection to the earth. She is a certified Nature School Educator through ERAFANS and holds a BA in Communications and Sociology, which informs her holistic and inclusive approach to education.
Veronica is also the creative force behind Veronica Green Publications and the beloved children’s book series “Veggie Vero”—a collection of stories that promote kindness to animals, plant-based living, and eco-conscious values. Through her writing, teaching, and leadership, she empowers children to become thoughtful, empathetic, and environmentally aware citizens.
Combining storytelling with hands-on learning, Veronica brings a unique and joyful energy to everything she does—helping young learners explore the world with open hearts and curious minds.
